Community Members

Some individuals may be interested in participating in the Sun Devil Marching band; yet are not considered full-time, degree seeking students at ASU. The ASU Marching Band has a community member program that will allow you to participate through a few steps as you see below. Requirements

To be considered a Marching Band Community Member you must follow the guidelines below:

  • Register through the Band Office on the Gold Form
  • Register and pay the Community Member fee
  • Sign all Indemnity and Model Release forms
  • Attend mandatory periodic SDA training in order to participate in the SDMB 
  • Participate in all camp, rehearsals, performances, etc. as per the Fall '23-24 calendar

Fee/Registration

Each member will be required to pay the fee of $350.00 in order to participate in the Sun Devil Marching Band.  You can pay this fee only online through the RegOnline system, the link will be provided in July. 

 

Paying the Band Fee

The link for the community member fee will become live in August and you will have time to pay the fee till September 1st.  Your continued participation in the class will depend on this fee being paid.  Rental of your instrument as well as other supplies will not be provided until the fee is fully paid.
